Family Ministries

We welcome families of all types at SLOUMC and strive to provide social activities and opportunities for spiritual growth for both parents and children, including: book studies, outings, Parent’s Night Out, and other get-togethers.

Family FUN (Family Fellowship of UMC Network)

The Family FUN group offers monthly activities for parents and children to come together for

socializing and fellowship. While Family FUN sponsors these events, all ages are welcome.

This year we are focusing on low- and no-cost activities so all may participate. More details will

be provided as we approach each event. Please contact the church office for further information.

Here is the schedule of family events for the remainder of 2011:

September 16 - 5:00 p.m. Family Potluck and Contra Dance in the Methodist Activity Center

November 20 - 5:00 p.m. All Church Thanksgiving Dinner in the Methodist Center
