What?
To study various kinds of Exercise, Dance, Nutrition, and Health.

Open to Everyone: Enthusiastic and dedicated community and church folks, and their family and friends.

Why do we do EDNH?
Exercise and good nutrition is vital to Americans' healthful living. We would like to share the training and experience we have and to be of service to those who might wish to gain healthier living, promote  all aspects of health, and to improved quality of life. Gaining fellowship and friendship is an added bonus. Where: SLOUMC (San Luis Obispo United Methodist Church) Wesley Building for now. We may move to the new church building upon completion.

Class Meets:
Mondays 1:00-2:30PM

Class Structure:
1:00-1:20
Spiritual Exercise by studying the Bible, pray for needy people, end with a healthy humor.
1:20-1:40
Nutrition and Health
1:40-2:10
Pilates based exercise: Breathing, Core and general muscle strength, Flexibility, Joint
lubrication, and balance
2:10-2:30
Dance Activities and closing of class.

Charge:
$10.00 per person/month.

Instructor:
Moon Ja Minn Suhr, BS in Dance, MA in Dance Education, Ph. D. in Dance and Related Arts. She is a Professor Emeritus at Cal Poly who began her teaching in Korea (4 years in Middld and High school and college level). Though retired, she still teaches part time and this is her 39th year of teaching at Cal Poly. She holds Community Teaching Credential, and is a certified teacher of Labanotation (Movement Language) and Pilates. She has taught Dance to all age group, and she tailors her teaching according to the students age and ability level. Moon Ja's husband, Paul T. Suhr is a retired electrical engineer from PG & E. His Biblical study is an on going practice.
